Who I Am
Well let’s see. First of all, my name is Francesco Vigorito, “Franco” or “Cheech” for short is what most people call me. I am 25 years old and hold a Bachelor of Science from Rutgers University. Throughout my childhood I had been deeply involved and fascinated by food. Food and cooking was definately my first passion above all else. During college I took a wine appreciation course and from that point on wine has played a significant role in my life. In January 09, I enrolled in Apicius Wine School in Florence, Italy for one year. So here I am now, in Florence, starting my first blog!

Hey Francesco,
How are you? If you didn’t didn’t know already, I am Nicola’s (your fathers cousin in Montreal) son. I just saw your parents over the weekend for my brothers wedding and they told me about your blog, anyways I decided to check it out and see how you are doing? I am also gonna start a sommelier course in October, although I have to pass an exam first to enter the program, so if I have any questions about wines I’m hoping you can help me out!

Hi Cheech,
I live in Cody, WY and have no knowledge of growing grapes but am interested in growing some here for wine and just eating. Is it possible to grow grapes in a zone 4 area. Our soil seems to fit your desription. Do you have a book you recommend for the beginner?
